Skills2Biz is the SME education brand of the Smorfitt Group, covering the full span from the classroom to the boardroom.

BEMT, for corporates and franchisors

The staff training and assessment is focused on job seekers, job applicants, and staff from supervisor level down. The training assists in increasing staff broader understanding of business operations, thinking and decision making.

The franchise division focuses on assessments of franchisees and franchisors, and a range of 3 day, 7 day, and 6 month training courses. Each is suited to a different market segment and its needs.

SME Factory, for entrepreneurs

The focus is on training entrepreneurs to launch their own operations. It offers short courses on specific topics for experienced and established entrepreneurs, through to 6 month end-to-end entrepreneurship courses.

Our training started in 1982, training corporate financial directors how to use VisiCalc on Apple computers. We launched our SME training businesses in 2000.

StartSmart, for schools

Entrepreneurship training and practical programmes for junior and high school students, to give them the understanding they need of the commercial world they will enter on completing school, and how and where they can fit in. It is a broad based approach, not a narrow focus on buying and selling products.

We still have school level educational entrepreneurship schoolbooks being sold in various countries.

Each brand runs its own real, road-tested assessment and training content, built on the same underlying methodology.
